The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) Class 12 exams are crucial for students in India as they mark the end of their school education. CBSE 12th Exams 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the class 12th board exams every year. Students enrolled in the 12th class from a CBSE affiliated institute can appear in these exams. Around 13 lakh students appear in the class 12th exam every year for 114 different subjects.
* Regular students who cleared the Class 11 from CBSE or any recognized education board by the State/ UT Government and who are currently studying in Class 12th are eligible to appear for the CBSE 12th exam. * A candidate who fails CBSE class 12 will be eligible to reappear at a subsequent examination as a private candidate. The candidates will be required to follow the syllabus and textbooks of the year in which he/she will reappear.
* In order to apply for CBSE board exams Class 12 2024, regular students are required to fill the examination form as instructed by the officials of their respective schools. * Private candidates have to submit the application form along with prescribed fee and three copies of passport-sized photographs to the regional officer of CBSE of the state/UT they reside in. * Required Documents: Photographs: Passport-sized photographs as per the specified requirements. Identification: Valid identification proof (as per CBSE guidelines). Previous Academic Records: Your school might require previous academic records or certificates for registration. * Submission of Forms and Fees: Your school will provide you with the exam forms and inform you about the exam fees and submission deadlines. Private candidates need to obtain the forms from a CBSE-affiliated school and submit them along with the required fees. * Confirmation : After successful registration, you'll receive a confirmation from the school regarding your exam registration. Always ensure to stay updated with notifications from your school and the CBSE board regarding any changes or additional requirements in the application process. If you're a private candidate, it's essential to follow CBSE guidelines for private candidates to ensure a smooth application process.
Closer to the exam date, CBSE issues admit cards. These contain essential details like exam center, roll number, and exam schedule. Admit cards are provided by the school you are studying in and the private students can download their admit card from the official website of CBSE- https://www.cbse.gov.in/.
Results are usually announced a few months after the exams, generally around May or June every year. You can visit the official website of CBSE-https://results.cbse.nic.in/ to check your results.
Candidates can pay the application fee using Credit/Debit card/Net Banking/Paytm/Cash Cards/SBI Buddy Wallet or they can also download e-challan and make the payment in any branch of Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank or ICICI Bank.
